Become a CSR Challenge Judge

The CSR Challenge is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise in sustainable development with young professionals with a wide range of work experience. It's also a chance to get involved in a local community event and learn about the pressing challenges facing organizations in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.

Over the past 10 years, the CSR Challenge has been an enriching experience for all those who have taken part. It offers the opportunity to network with peers working in the field of corporate social responsibility, and to meet MBA students who want to make a significant impact on society in their future careers.

  • Are senior executives or managers with decision-making authority

  • Are senior consultants or advisors.

Judges will be required to:

  • Understand and analyze case details (including financial information) in a short space of time.

  • Evaluate the strength of the arguments and recommendations presented by the students.

  • Demonstrate sound judgment, open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity.

  • Ask relevant questions during the question and answer period.

  • Provide feedback, including suggestions to teams after team presentations.

" I greatly enjoyed being a judge at the 2016 HEC Montréal CSR Challenge! The quality of the presentations and the in-depth analysis of the participants are inspiring; and the camaraderie developed with the other judges remains to this day."
